| Description: | The Demonstration Programme has yielded a wealth of technical information about ICZM mechanisms and solutions to specific problems faced in the coastal zone. However, as the purpose of the present document is to generate discussion concerning a possible strategy for promoting ICZM in Europe, only those lessons with policy implications are discussed herein, leaving the more technical details to the final reports of the thematic studies. Furthermore, this document is focussed on the cross-cutting, non-sectoral issues of common interest to the range of stakeholders in the coastal zone. | ||||
