The Wadden Sea Region Planning Portal is an innovative application mapping the Wadden Sea Region from The Netherlands across Germany to Denmark in a cross-administrative manner. The Wadden Sea Region Planning Portal has a focus on existing and partly planned activities in marine and land areas and has been designed for anyone wanting to learn more about the Wadden Sea and its coastal regions. The Wadden Sea Region Planning Portal contains a wide range of uses, facilities and protection demands and is designed to meet the information needs of an integrated management.
The Wadden Sea Forum e.V. (WSF) in co-operation with EUCC – Die Küsten Union Deutschland e.V (EUCC-D) maintains this Planning Portal. Our goal is to keep this information up-to-date and accurate. The Wadden Sea Region Planning Portal has been developed in two phases with an overall budget of 100.000€ (financed by WSF and RWE-Dea).
